Tour Guide Mr Lim
Yesterday was such a cold day. It was not caused by me. LOL!! I went for this facilitator's thing at MOE building. My partner for the day was PeiRong. We met our scholars. Guess what!? They are going to be our juniors next year!? LOL!! SO ZHUN!! MUHAHAHA~! Got the feelings of being a senior at the moment. Haha..
We went to URA building first. It was kind of boring since the tour guide was talking all the way. LOL!! We had no time to interrupt him. Zzz.. PeiRong was feeling cold all the time and I thought that she was trembling. There was no hot drink or extra shirt for her to wear so she was there suffering.
Later we went to the temple. The temple was flooded. We couldn't enter through the back door due to the water level in the temple. So we had to enter through the front door. It was enriching for me since I listened to some other tour guides there talking about the background of the gods. I now then realised the story behind it. So amazing!!
We couldn't go to the Indian temple as well as the Chinatown attraction due to the heavy downpour. In the end, we ended up in the Indian Arcade. The scholars were at 7-eleven buying their phoneline. There were a lot of them queueing up. I thought that they were already missing home since they had only arrived the day before.
We had some Indian snacks there and it was kind of nice especially the teh tarik with ginger. I was hungry so was PeiRong. She finally had her hot cup of Teh Tarik. Haha. We chatted with one of the scholars from Malaysia. He was quite friendly. Or should I say that every scholar there was super friendly.
After the small snack, we went to the Tekka Mall to walk since we were given time to roam around. So JunJie, PeiRong, I and one very IRRITATING fellow walked around the mall. We were trying out new stuffs like the spectacles and stuffs but that IRRITATING fellow kept passing rude comments. I was like clenching my fists but I kept cool since JunJie was trying to chant Xin Jin for me to listen. LOL!!
After that, we waited for the bus to come and the scholars were on their way back to their hostels. The facilitators then went separate ways.
I took bus back. On the way back, I thought of a lot of things. I think don't mention is better. The more I talk about it, the more depressed I wil get.
The rain kept pouring which made me drench in and out. LOL!! I was thinking that I was surely be sick and true enough, yesterday when I reached home, my nose started to wreak havoc. I had to use a lot of tissue papers and over a short period of time, I had become a swimmer who swims using backstroke. You know why!? Because they had to put the black colour thing on their nose which seal the nostrils, just like what I did yesterday!!LOL!!
But I'm better today!! Yea, I'm going to play badminton later. Please don't rain!! I'm going to bring the house down!! MUHAHAHA!!
Looking forward to the second BIG DAY on 26th Dec where we would be going Sentosa for Operation Omega!!
