Life In BMT

It is like so fast that my BMT in tekong is over. I'm still thinking of my days in BMT. I think I kind of miss my friends there. They make a real great difference to my life there.

Week 0,1,2-Enlistment week. There were so much things to do and I was dying to go back home because of the inhuman training initially. There were so many trainings. I fell sick twice and I wasn't allowed to go home even though I got MC because it was confinement week. I still remembered when I managed to survive till book out. I alighted the bus and there were so many parents there waiting for their sons and none of them was mine. I took a taxi alone back home but my parents were waiting at my house downstairs for me. I was touched. Never really felt family love that much.

Week 3-Field camp. This was probably the toughest event of the whole BMT. 6days out in the jungle eating field rations. There were a lot of tough training that made everyone so shagged. I fell out one day because I fainted during the march. I still had to join back in to continue the training. BIC was tough because it was on the last day of the camp when everyone was so tired but everyone pushed on because after field camp was CNY long break!

The rest of the weeks were all trainings. High key events like road march were carried out. 24km-road March was fun even though it was tiring. We were supposed to sing all the way and we suan our sgt along the way.

And not to forget my bunk mates!
